AGE POLICY
We operate a strict over-18 policy for all aesthetic treatments. If you appear to be under the age of 18, we reserve the right to ask for valid photo identification (e.g., passport or driving license) to verify your age. For medical treatments, signed parental or guardian consent is required for patients under the age of 18 before treatment.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
Dermal Health operates a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
- Cancellations must be communicated clearly via phone, email, WhatsApp, or in person during our operating hours.
DEPOSITS
A deposit of £50 is required to secure all appointment bookings. This deposit confirms your time slot and is redeemable against the cost of your treatment on the day. If you do not attend your appointment , for treatments other than laser, the deposit remains redeemable against future treatments for up to 3 months from the original appointment date as a goodwill gesture. Deposits are fully refundable provided that cancellation notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
REFUND POLICY
- Treatments & Courses: Purchases of individual treatments and treatment courses are generally non-refundable once purchased. However, within 14 days of the original purchase date, unused treatments or course value may, at management’s discretion, be transferred to alternative aesthetic treatments or issued as a credit note.
- Credit Notes: Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. An extension to 24 months may be granted in documented cases of pregnancy, subject to management approval. If a credit note is issued for a treatment course that has already commenced, its value will be calculated based on the standard price of individual treatments already received, thereby forfeiting the discounted course rate benefit.
- Products: For hygiene reasons, purchased products cannot be refunded or exchanged once opened or used. Unopened and unused products in their original packaging may be considered for refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase.
LATE ARRIVALS
We request that you arrive promptly for your appointment to ensure you receive your full allocated treatment time. While we try our best to accommodate slight delays, arriving late may result in your treatment time being shortened. If you arrive significantly late, making it impossible to perform the treatment without impacting subsequent appointments, we may need to reschedule your session. This may be treated as a late cancellation, and the terms of our cancellation policy (deposit forfeiture or course session deduction) will apply.
TREATMENT DISCLAIMER
We are committed to achieving the best possible results for our clients and tailor treatments accordingly. However, individual outcomes can vary significantly based on factors such as skin type, biological response, health, diet, lifestyle, and adherence to pre-care and aftercare instructions. Therefore, results cannot be guaranteed. We may suggest adjustments to your treatment plan during your course to better your results based on your progress and needs.
POLICY ON CHILDREN
For safety and insurance reasons, children cannot be left unsupervised in the reception or waiting rooms.
GIFT VOUCHERS
- Purchased gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift vouchers are typically valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Please present your gift voucher at the time of your appointment for redemption.
- Promotional or complimentary gift vouchers may have different terms and shorter validity periods; please check the details specified on the voucher.
PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
Unless otherwise specified, all promotional offers are limited to one per person and cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions. Offers may exclude certain treatments or products. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions associated with each offer.
COMPLAINTS POLICY
We aim to provide an exceptional service to all our patients. Should you wish to make a formal complaint, please do so in writing via email to una@dermalhealth.co.uk addressed to the Clinic Manager. We endeavour to acknowledge all written complaints within 5 working days from receipt.
